What is the difference between a flat bowl and a platter?
The flat bowl is more bowl like and has a smaller footprint and is glazed over the rim to the foot. The platter is more plate like and has a clay rim with no glazing on the back.
Both of these personalized gifts shapes look nicely hung on the wall.
Are they safe for serving food?

As natives of the Northwest and observant travelers, these two collaborating artists draw inspiration for their one-of-a-kind stoneware creations from their surroundings and natural resources.
For over 30 years, Dwight has been creating his unique shapes on the potters' wheel. Each form becomes a black canvas for Regina. In combination with their vibrant glazes, she hand-paints her original designs to each one using intricate resisting processes.
Creating these personalized gifts, whether for wedding gifts or anniversary gifts or any special occasion has been such a great way to share our work with people.
